Saint William Parish Council
The council meets once a month at the parish center. The pastor meets with this group of volunteers that represent the entire parish community. This organization functions as a sounding board and a forum for suggestions and concerns to work with our pastor to establish guidelines for maintaining the integrity of both the faith and organizational foundations of the parish.
Communications Group
Works to maintain communication and coordinate fundraising efforts among all Saint William organizations.

This group is working to arrange quarterly meetings with all parish organizations to help maintain a consistent approach to fundraising and communication. Coordinating efforts among all organizations helps to promote both church and school together.
Education Commission
President Mary Sunderhaus
Facilitates efforts between the staff and parents of the school to provide faith based guidelines for on- going spiritual and academic growth. This commission meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month in the Principals office. Please contact Mary if you would like to attend or have an item to be added to the agenda.
Saint Vincent De Paul Society
St. Vincent De Paul works to fulfill the two great commandments – love of God and love of neighbor. They help those in need by providing material support and showing God’s love. They also make hospital visits to parishioners. Meetings are held on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Center. They welcome anyone who wants to answer the call to be of service to God’s children in need.
Adult Group
The Adult Group provides enjoyment for adults who wish to spend an afternoon at St. William playing bingo and cards. Meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesday afternoon in Father Reardon Hall, and coffee and dessert are served at meetings. Luncheons are held in June and at Christmas. This group is not restricted to St. William parishioners; all are welcome!
Al-Anon Family Group
Al-Anon Family Group works to help families of alcoholics deal with their lives. Meetings are help on the second Monday of each month at 8:00 p.m. in the Parish Library. Beginners can come at 7:30 p.m.
Athletic Association
The Athletic Association provides opportunities for a variety of athletic participation for children of St. William parish as well as social contact for parents and adults. Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 8:00 p.m. in Father Reardon Hall. Membership fee is $100 per family per year.
Garden Club
The Garden Club exists for the purpose of beautifying and maintaining the grounds surrounding the church, school, and Parish Center. Members meet as needed, generally after the 8:15 weekday Mass. Additional meetings will be announced in the bulletin. New members are always welcome.
Experienced gardeners with knowledge of plants and landscaping talents are encouraged to share their God-given gifts with the parish through the Garden Club. There are a great many chores that do not require prior experience, only a willingness to serve.
If you would like to help defray the costs, please make your donations to St. William Parish and designate them for the Garden Club.
Pro-Life
The St. William Pro-Life group prays a Holy Hour for the spiritual reparation of the harm done by abortions every Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the church. They pass along information from the Archdiocese to the parish community, build a Jesus Crib during Advent, and hold a Right to Life Flower Sale in May. They also collect used baby clothes and other baby items throughout the year for healthy mothers and children.
Scouting at St. William: Boy Scouts
Boy Scouts meet on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Library. In addition to weekly meetings, they offer camping, Court of Honor, and opportunities to earn merit badges.
Cub Scouts
Cub Scouts promote trustworthiness, loyalty to God and country, honesty, teamwork and self-reliance. They offer camping, crafts, merit badges, and an annual pack meeting. Individual dens set their own meeting times.
Girl Scouts (Rainbow Rock Neighborhood)
Girls Scouts offer learning, leadership, and cooperation opportunities for girls of all races and religions between the ages of 5 and 17. A Catholic Religious Recognition program is available. Individual troops set their own meeting times
