St. William is a Roman Catholic Parish located on the west side of Cincinnati, Ohio. Our parish has approximately 700 families and 272 children in the school from kindergarten through eighth grade, including the 27 children in our Autism scholarship program.

St. William School provides a faith-based education that recognizes that each student is an individual who has an opportunity to excel both spiritually and academically.

Our parish families, teachers and staff work together to create a spirit that instills an ongoing sense of community and service.

Parish Picnic Set for August 29 at Stricker's Grove: We had so much fun at last year's Parish Picnic, we're doing it again! This year's event, in conjunction with St. Teresa of Avila and St. Catharine of Siena parishes, is Friday, August 29 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm at Stricker's Grove (11490 Hamilton-Cleves Road). Admission is FREE. Rides for the kids will be available starting at 6:00pm. Bring your own non-alcoholic drinks. Beer can be purchased on site. Grilled meats, plates and utensils are provided. Please bring a side dish to share. We could use help with the grilling, so all helping hands are welcome! Call 921-0247 or 921-9200 to volunteer or if you have any questions. Come and celebrate the end of summer with food, fun and lots of friends!

St. William Oktoberfest-Sept 26 & 27: St. William celebrates its eighth annual Oktoberfest on Friday, September 26 from 6:00pm to 11:00pm, and again on Saturday, September 27 from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. This celebration of German culture takes place on the church grounds in a beautifully decorated setting that will remind you of a Bavarian village. Guests can sit under the Fest Tent and enjoy German and domestic beers and wine. Feast on German cuisine including bratwurst and German potato salad, potato pancakes, giant pretzels and limburger sandwiches. Desserts include cream puffs and strudels.

Musical entertainment includes The Festmeisters on Friday night. The return of the crowd-favorite 15-piece Sauerkraut German Band will entertain us on Saturday. Split the pot and games will be available both days. Guests can also watch UC vs. Ohio State on a large screen TV on Saturday!  Admission (which includes $1 off a food purchase) is $3 for adults. $1 for children under 12. Plenty of free parking behind St. William School. In case of rain, the festivities will move to Father Reardon Hall.

Interfaith Hospitality Network: Our next Interfaith Hospitality Hosting Week is Sunday, September 14 through Saturday, September 20. As always, we need volunteers to make our guests feel at home. You can prepare a meal or part of a meal, bake or buy dessert, pitch in for pizza, do dishes or laundry, greet the bus when it arrives or just be present to our guests. To volunteer, call 921-0247.

Monthly Coffee & Donuts Fellowship to Begin September 21! Beginning on the third Sunday of September (September 21) St. William Church will have a Coffee & Donuts Fellowship in Father Reardon Hall following the 9:00am Mass. Parishioners Cyndy Driehaus and Paula Gruber have graciously agreed to co-chair this effort. We need many volunteers to: set up tables; make the donut run; purchase fancy creamers, sugars and sweeteners; purchase juice and milk for the kiddos; coffee and hot water preparation; and help with clean up. Please contact Marti Barnes at 921-0247 if you are willing to volunteer.
