St. William is a Roman Catholic Parish located on the west side of Cincinnati, Ohio. Our parish has approximately 700 families and 272 children in the school from kindergarten through eighth grade, including the 27 children in our Autism scholarship program.

St. William School provides a faith-based education that recognizes that each student is an individual who has an opportunity to excel both spiritually and academically.

Our parish families, teachers and staff work together to create a spirit that instills an ongoing sense of community and service.

ALL SAINTS DAY

MASS SCHEDULE

(NOT a Holy Day of Obligation)

Vigil Mass, Friday, October 31 at 2PM

 Holy Day, Saturday, November 1 at 8:15AM

Since All Saints Day falls on a Saturday this year, it is NOT a Holy Day of Obligation. However, we will still observe the solemnity with a Vigil Mass at 2:00pm on Friday, October 31 for the school children and for anyone who wishes to attend. Also, the 8:15am Saturday Mass on November 1 will be held in the CHURCH (instead of the chapel) to make accommodations for those who wish to attend. All are welcome.

Holy Hour for Vocations at St. William: We are excited to announce the first ever Archdiocesan-wide "Holy Hour for Vocations" will take place on Wednesday, November 5. As the Catholic Church celebrates National Vocation Awareness Week, parishes from all over the Archdiocese and at least one in each deanery have agreed to open their doors to all who want to join in simultaneous prayer for vocations (some churches will open their doors on Thursday night for those who can't attend on Wednesday). St. William Church will be open for a Holy Hour on Wednesday, November 5 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. The Pilgrim Statue of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, recently blessed by Pope Francis and touring the U.S., will arrive at St. William Church on Tuesday, November 11. The statue will be present in church around noontime (after the 11:30am Mass) until 8:00pm. Please come and spend some quiet time in church to pray for peace in our world, our homes and our hearts, as Our Lady of Fatima requested.

St. William Thanksgiving Eve Mass: Mark your calendars now for Wednesday, November 26 at 7:00pm, when our parish will celebrate our St. William Annual Parish Mass of Thanksgiving. You are invited to bring a canned good for St. Vincent de Paul's Food Pantry. Afterwards, there will be a reception in Father Reardon Hall. Please bring a snack or a dish to share at the reception if you plan on attending.

 Adult Social & Bingo: Come to the Adult Social & Bingo on Wednesday, November 12. Doors open at 11:00am. Bingo starts at noon. Bring your lunch and Caritas Ministries will provide dessert. Need a ride? Call 921-0247. Be sure to also mark your calendar for Wednesday, December 10 for the Adult Social Christmas  Luncheon!

St. William Memorial Mass, Nov 2: This Sunday, November 2 at the 11:00am Mass, the people of St. William Parish will celebrate a special Memorial Eucharist for our deceased loved ones, but especially for those who died in the past year (between October 1, 2013 and October 1, 2014). To those relatives of the deceased who received a letter from the parish office, please invite your family members. There is no need to RSVP. There is no assigned seating. Come and sit where you prefer. After the liturgy, you will be invited to come forward and take a candle home as a memorial of your loved one. This is a parish event. Everyone is encouraged to celebrate with us the lives of those who will be remembered this year.

Halloween Party: The Knights of Columbus and the Ladies Auxiliary will be hosting a Halloween Party on Halloween night, Friday, October 31 from 8:00pm to 10:00pm.There will be games, prizes, food, and drink, and a mini haunted hallway, all at a minimum cost. Stop by after Trick-or-Treating. This is open to St. William families. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Elder Glee Club Fall Cabaret is Friday, November 7 at 8:00pm in Father Reardon Hall (doors open at 7:30pm). $15.00 per person includes beer, soft drinks, chips and pretzels If you wish you can bring your own hors d'oeuvres. Reservations are required, so contact Bill or Linda Maurer at 513-659-2565.

CMO Free Toe-Tapping Concert: The Cincinnati Metropolitan Orchestra, conducted by Dave Allen, presents "Step in Time: A Collection of Symphonic Marches" on Sunday, November 2 at 3:00pm.
