Volunteers Needed for 2015 St. William Fish Fry! We will kick off the Lenten season with a pre-Lenten event, our 2nd annual FAT FRIDAY on February 13 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm in Father Reardon Hall. As always, we need volunteers to make our Fish Fry a success. We need help with: food preparation, setup and cleanup, frying (18 and older), taking and filling orders, serving food and refreshments, and donations for the weekly bake sale.

If you are interested in volunteering for the first time or again, call Nancy Young at 251-3904 or email Jessica Young at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Blessing of Throats, January 31 & February 1: St. Blaise was a bishop and martyr of the early Church. His holiness was manifest through many miracles. Once he cured a boy who was choking to death on a fish bone. It is for this reason that St. Blaise is the patron of those with throat ailments. It is customary for the faithful to have their throats blessed on or near his feast day. Following all Masses on the weekend of January 31 & February 1, Father will bless the throats of those who come forward.

This is CMA Commitment Weekend: Please join with Catholics in every parish throughout our archdiocese who support important local ministries which depend on our help each year. If you have already responded by mail or online, or if you brought your completed pledge card to place in the offertory today, thank you!!! To make a pledge securely online, visit

Baby Bottle Campaign 2015: St. William Parish will again participate in the Baby Bottle Campaign benefiting Pregnancy Center West. Baby bottles will be distributed at all Masses on the weekend of January 24 & 25. In the two weeks following, fill yiour bottle with your loose change, singles or checks. Return the baby bottle to church during the weekend of February 7 & 8. The funds collected  are urgently needed to continue to provide free pregnancy testing and life-affirming guidance to women who may think that abortion is their only option. The Center also provides other free services including parenting classes, chastity programs presented in local Catholic schools, and baby supplies such as formula, diapers, clothing and furniture. For more information, visit on the web.
