ST. WILLIAM CUB SCOUT SILENT CAKE AUCTION! This year, our cub scouts are having a parish-wide silent cake auction the weekend of April 12 and 13. This is a big fundraiser for our pack so we hope all will stop by and bid. One set of exquisite cakes will be up for auction after the 3:30pm Mass on Saturday, April 12 and another set will be available for auction on Sunday, April 13 after the 9am and 11am Masses. The cakes will be set up in Fr. Reardon Hall. A sheet of paper describing each cake will be with the cake along with a sheet of paper for your bids. We will ask for your name, telephone number and bid. The highest bid will win the cake. The cub scouts will also be competing for awards, so we will need you to vote also. The awards that they will be competing for are most original cake, most colorful, best scout themed cake, most patriotic and last but not least, the highest bid. The scout that makes the cake that goes for the highest bid will split the proceeds with the pack. All of the money raised goes towards supporting the boys’ cubbing adventure. In years past, we have had some unbelievable cakes--a train cake, a mountain campout cake, a treasure chest cake filled with candies just to name a few. So stop by after Mass next weekend and support your cub scouts
